One of a kind entrepreneur

With over 7 billion people on the globe, it’s comforting to know that God created some with an extra special mold, and He certainly broke it with this one. We do not say this lightly as we introduce entrepreneur Louis D. Spagnuolo. Quite possibly one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, his company Illuminati Trust has over 37 corporate holdings in a diverse range of industries. If you haven’t met him yet, you’re about to get to know one of the most powerful men in business.

Let’s get down to the bottom line…

Beverly Hills Magazine: What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?

Louis D. Spagnuolo: To me being an entrepreneur means having the “balls” to risk it all regardless of the circumstances. In life every situation most often it comes down to “two roads”, the hard road and the easy road. Going to school, getting a great education and getting a nice job and being a W-2 employee is what I would call the “easy road”. Clearing your own path and being a trailblazer with no assurance of success, is without a doubt the “hard road” and is the one that you see the best and the brightest always traveling on.

Beverly Hills Magazine: What is the most challenging thing about being an entrepreneur?

How far are you willing to walk?

This is an actual story of a prospective investment that was presented to me and told by the person requesting the funding. “The Entrepreneur”

Entrepreneur: We rolled into valet in his $400,000 Rolls-Royce, which was one of three that he owned and exited the car into the best steak house in Fort Lauderdale. I was spending time with a polarizing figure, the wealthiest man I knew who quickly became a client, friend and mentor. The short time I knew him had taught me that he was not only wildly successful, but he also had a great heart to serve and give back. After all, why else would he spend time with me only knowing me for a few months at this point? It didn’t matter to me. I was going to dinner on a mission.

After a cocktail and some laughs our conversation went something like this:

When life is not worth 6 cents…

I’m driving in my car and decide to stop at a McDonalds to grab a bottled water. Since my car is a little low to the ground, I decide to walk in, where I see a long line of people waiting to place there order.

With at least 5 people in front of me, I start to feel some tension and hostility, so I look to the front of the line and see a woman with 3 kids speaking to the cashier about who knows what.

What will keep you in the game?

“There will never be a point in your life, when it will be the right time to do a great thing. If you wait for that perfect moment, that perfect time..it’s not going to happen. To be successful you have to create the perfect time, the perfect opportunity and that perfect situation. A lot of people become comfortable and they stop growing and stop wanting anything, which leads them to become satisfied. When you are not pursuing your goal, then all that is left is spiritual suicide. When you have some goal that you are striving for and fighting for, you will find out that you have some abilities and talents that you didn’t know you had. When the message of misery visits you, what are you going to do? What will keep you in the game? Unless you attempt to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. If you are waiting on your next door neighbor to make it happen, it may not happen. If you are waiting on your mother or your father, it may never get done. You don’t beg average people to be phenomenal. You don’t beg good people to be phenomenal. You just have to be phenomenal and you will attract phenomenal. What reason can you remember that you can call on that can make you get back up? Find that reason!

Everybody is against you and don’t believe in you anymore. Well let me tell you something…that’s a lonely feeling. Most people take their greatness and their ideas to the graveyard with them. If it was easy, everybody would do it. The wealthiest place on the planet is the graveyard. Because in the graveyard we will find inventions we were never ever exposed to. Ideas and dreams that never became a reality. Hopes and aspirations that were never acted upon.

When things don’t work out for you. When things happen that you can’t anticipate, what are the reasons you can think of that will keep you strong? It’s easy to be on the bottom. It doesn’t take any effort to be a loser, but it draws on everything in you and you have to harnish you will to say “I will challenge myself!”

Their are 86,400 seconds in a day and its up to you how you use them and what you do today is what you see who you are. The biggest enemy you have to deal with is yourself. If their is no enemy within then the enemy outside can do us no harm. So when life knocks you down, try to lye on your back because you can look up then you can GET UP! If you want something bad enough fight for it and work day and night for it.

When you die, die on “E”. Leave no opportunity behind and no dream behind.

You will never get here if you give up, if you quit, if you give in. You have to want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, so never ever ever GIVE UP! -LDS”
